Emmeline was a pale girl with long blonde hair, and a perfect smile that hardly ever appeared on her lips. Only a handful of her friends could make her laugh. Thanks to about a million charms and spells, her hair was silky soft and was always the way she wanted it. Her hair fell in soft curls down to the small of her back. Emmeline had a habit of running her fingers through her hair though she hated when other people touched her hair. Emmeline’s figure was, well, basically inexistent. She loved having attention because she deserved it, not for the way she looked. She respected herself enough for that. She normally hid her figure behind long baggy shirts and a pair of dark blue jeans. Which, too most people, was a disappointment since she had the ‘perfect body’ as her friends said. She would laugh it off and continue on with the conversation before that.
Everything Emmeline did had to be perfect, and so did her looks. Her long blonde hair was normally worn up in an elegant twist with a single curl down and framing her face. Except when she was doing absolutely nothing in the Common Room then it was down. It fell three inches past her shoulders. Emmeline's eyes were a deep sapphire blue color and outlined with long, thick eyelashes. She had a pale complexion with freckles randomly spread across her body. Her skin lit up in a pale pink shade when she laughed. Her nails were long, but not too long, and always painted a deep crimson color, resembling the color of blood.

Most at Hogwarts, when someone's sorted into Ravenclaw, they are instantly a person who study 24/7. This was not the case of Emmeline. Merlin no. She could be described as quite; she could be described as loud. She could be looked at as a serious person; she could be a fun-loving girl who loves to test the rules. No one quite understood her. Her personality was constantly changing. She loved to keep people guessing. When it came to schoolwork, however, she was as serious as serious could be. Emmeline had never been the 'girly-girl' type. She was more of a 'tom-boy' label. But, then again, Emmeline did not believe in labels. So let us get back on topic. Emmeline was a lovable, happy, and fun girl. She had always been one of those girl who can open anyone up and reveal a problem they were currently having. It was a gift she had.
She would always be seen laughing, with her normally pale complexion a pale crimson red, about what, no one was quite sure. And on one really dared to ask. Emmeline was the type of girl who would sit in a silent room and burst out into laughter about something that happened yesterday. But most of all, she always kept you laughing. Unless, of course, you needed her to be serious. She was always there for her friends and always will be. No matter what happened. Emmeline had always been a true friend, and she has always been easy to get along with.

Personal History:
Growing up in a small wizarding village, just outside of London, Emmeline became addicted to wizarding objects, games, and, most of all, Quidditch at a very young age. When she first received her Hogwarts letter, she was ecstatic. She went to Hogwarts and was instantly sorted into Ravenclaw. She knew she would be sorted there, as did her mother. Her years at Hogwarts seem to pass by slowly.
Emmeline loves Hogwarts a great deal, and considers it to be her home away from home. But at the end of the school term, she can't wait to go back home to Shadow Point and spend the holidays with her parents. Her favourite holiday has always been, and will always be, Christmas. All her relatives would come to her parents house and spend all of Christmas Eve night together gathered around the fireplace sharing stories of the past year. Her favourite Christmas was when she was fourteen and her father bought her a black kitten, named Midnight, for her dark black coat.[/ul]

Alexa was in the library after breakfast that late Saturday morning. The girl seemed unperturbed by the sudden wind and continued to stare down. Her long black hair grazed over her slender shoulder and dropped onto the table as she read the book placed on the tabletop. A perfectly manicured nail ran back and forth across the pages of the old, withered book as her sparkling gray eyes darted left and right and back again. Her pearly white teeth bit lightly at her bottom lip. A quiet sigh escaped her as she snapped the book shut and gently pushed it forward. With her head bowed in defeat, she stood from the large table and flicked her wrist at the several books piled in front of her. Almost instantly, the books returned to their rightful place. She brushed her long curl from her eyes and pushed her fist into the wood of the table.
“I’m never going to figure out this bloody spell!” she exclaimed quietly collapsing back into her chair, “Why do I even need to learn how to defend myself against death eaters? It‘s not like they would attack me from behind a bloody bookcase!”
A long sigh escaped her crimson red lips as her head fell gently to the table. “Why? Why? Why?” she asked herself lightly pounding her head on the wood with every word. She suddenly stood from the table and ran out of the library silently and out of the large oak doors, guarding the castle from the outside world. Her high heeled shoes hit the pavement as she ran down the wide stone staircase as the pouring ran mixed with the tears now cascading down her cheeks. She was close to the edge of the Forbidden Forest. She wasn’t allowed to go in. And yet, she ran further until she couldn‘t run anymore. She was deep within the forest when her legs collapsed under her. She fell to the ground as her body shook with a quiet sob. She was sick of being the perfect Pure-Blood daughter. She hated the lies her mother told her. She never wanted to hurt anyone. Alex never wanted that.
Her shining eyes cast a look towards her right arm as her free hand pushed up the sleeve. Several gashes crossed through each other across her pale skin. Alex bought her knees up to her chest and grasped them, tightly locked within her arms. She pushed her head into her knees and sobbed harder. She hated that she relied on cutting to solve her problems. It didn’t work. She couldn’t cast aside her feelings. She couldn’t take her emotional pain out physically upon herself. She couldn’t. Not anymore.
