Physical
By no means is Amycus a very tall or athletic boy. In fact, he never really was. He is quite a lanky boy, measuring in at only 5'9" and weighing about 130 lbs. He was never very muscular, as he doesn't really enjoy any sort of physical labor aside from moving his mouth when talking. (Though he use to be a fat little boy.) He jokes that his mandible has to be the strongest muscle in his body because of all the talking he does. He has never been interested in any sports, except in being a spectator. He doesn't do any form of exercise beside the usual climbing of stairs and running across the school to get from class to class. That's pretty much the extent of his exercise for the day, and while at home, he basically does nothing physically active like that.
His skin has this peach, almost yellowish, color, and for the most part, he avoids getting tans or tan lines, since he mostly tries to stay inside. His eyes are a darker shade of light blue, like a bright Aquamarine, and he has thin eyebrows, which are usually covered by the hair on his forehead. Amycus' straight, dark brown hair can grow very long very quickly if not taken care of. It is usually styled in the same way and he won't even think of trying a different style. He has large satellite dish ears and a generally long face and nose, a definite sharp contrast to the round shape of his haircut. His lips are thin, and he can make the funniest expressions with his face when confused or angered.
Amycus has an obsession with hygiene. He will wash his hair twice a day everyday when he showers and brushes his teeth after every single meal, in the morning after he wakes up and at night before bed. It is not odd to find Amycus bent over a sink or a water fountain, brushing his teeth. The rest of his body is very stick-like. His arms and legs are like twigs sticking out of a slightly thicker twig. His fingers are very long and flexible from a few years of piano lessons, which he hated since it took time away from his "space training". His feet seem to grow more everyday, which is remarkable, seeing as they are already quite big.
Amycus' clothing style is very clean-cut usually, even though at times he will match colors with each other that don't really belong together. He likes wearing long sleeved shirts and has been known to wear them even in the summer. He's not really sure why he likes them, though one clue might be that he calls them protection from the elements. He does own quite a few suits mostly expensive name brands. He has suits for when he wants to go out and a lovely selection of winter garments. Since his foot is always growing, he has an extensive collection of shoes of all types: sneakers, formal shoes and wore out shoes, which are quite expensive as well.
Even though Amycus' parents have enough money to buy him anything he really wants, He has never asked for specific types of jewelry or accessories of that sort. He rarely wears any sort of additive to his clothing except for a watch that his father bought him when he was very young. The waistband of Amycus' pants can typically be found near the top of his hips, and his shirt is almost always let lose and flowing freely. He does like to wear cologne, since he has this cleanliness aspect about him. Deodorant is Amycus' best friend. He doesn't really care about his personal appearance, just how clean he is.

"A Slytherin Aries is a bundle of contradictions. In some ways, they have the potential to be the strongest of their House - the intensity, drive, and brilliant visionary dreams of the Aries combined with the innate leadership skills, the charisma, and the profound sense of self (including the eccentric lack of interest in conforming to what other people think) is stuff of which great magical legends are made. However, a Slytherin Aries has much to learn about politics, knowing who is an appropriate object of trust and who is not trustworthy, knowing when to keep one's mouth shut, and knowing when to avoid acting on impulse in order to use a situation to its best advantage. Although they hate to admit it, these Slytherins are easily manipulated by more cynical, shrewd peers in the Serpent's Den. If they can learn to manage their blind spots, they will go far. Slytherin Aries types can be quite cruel, especially if they have enough physical prowess to bully smaller students; those that are not cruel can still be thoughtless and brutally tactless without actually meaning to cause damage." - HP Astrology.
In some ways Amycus is a complicated guy, but in others, he really isn't. For one, he's a bully, but at the same time he's not an idiot. If he was an idiot and a bully, there's no way he could have become Prefect (unless every other bloke in his year was even worse than he was). The thing with Amycus is that he has lofty goals, but he's got dreadful follow through. He wants it all, he was to experience it, and so he can be viciously shrewd to get what he wants. That leer on his face, that's not a blank "duh" stare. That's a scheming stare. Be it objects or people (even girls), he's always scheming on how to get it. This might mean playing nice, it might mean being a complete and utter thug. It might mean being proud and standing tall for himself and his sister, and it might mean playing henchmen and lowering himself to the status of lackey. It might mean concentrating enough on his studies to get a surprisingly good mark, and it might mean doing nothing and failing. Amycus is a planner and a dreamer. His only problem his he's not a good planner. He sucks at it. His plans often and always fail. He does in reality depend on others to screw up to get himself to the top. But Amycus is nothing if not tenacious, and so he'll keep on trying, time and time again.
As mentioned, he can be gentle bloke. He can do what everyone else can; fall in love, care for things, smile and mean it. He can be surprisingly eloquent, but make no mistake, the core of Amycus' being is a thug; someone that wants only his own gratification, even to the detriment of others. He's not above using violence when violence is what is needed. As mentioned, he's not talented when it comes to most magic (spells, charms), and though he's not too bad with hexes and some curses, he's not much of a duellist. Challenge him to a fight and he probably won't even be able to conjure a shield charm to protect himself. But if you're going to use magic, make sure it counts. Because if that Stunner of yours isn't enough to take him down, or if your Incarcerous curse doesn't have enough OOMPH with it, he'll charge you, hold you down and beat you to half-to-death. Amycus is a brute, or at least, he can be.
Transfiguration is one of the subtle magics that he's interested in, but it's not for duelling, but for sculpting. It's not something he shares with anyone, and only his sister or anyone else who might catch him in the act would know about it. Hey, everyone needs secrets, a hobby he's a bit embarrassed about. If you really want to hurt the kid, make fun of one of his sculptures. He also likes fire; watching it move, testing his endurance by placing his hand over small open flames, the like.
So all in all he's a bundle of contradictions. Big and clever, clever and shrewd, shrewed and gentle , gentle and brutal. Lastly, Amycus has a complicated relationship with his sister, Alecto. While he's a simmering pot of lies, manipulation and sometimes violence, she just absorbs every bitter feeling and swallows it inside. It amuses him to no end. Amycus will be cruel to his sister, and he'll abuse her. He'll do it with words, emotionally, and sometimes physically, smacking her upside the head and the like (and believe me, a smack from Amycus will hurt). He'll do this in the open, for all to see, and it might alarm many people to see that. However, when Alecto truly reaches out for him, it can trigger that violence in Amycus that could put someone in a morgue. Alright, slight exaggeration there, but it'll piss him off. I guess it's a "I can mess with her, you can't" sort of thing. The siblings may and will fight, and sometimes it will get ugly, but ultimately nothing can drive them apart. The love there might be a bit twisted, but it's there.

Salus & Alexus Parley - Carrows
Siblings:
Alecto - Twin - Sixth Year Slytherin
Personal History:
With a marriage based on lies, it didn't start off well for the Carrows. His father, a pure-blood with lofty goals whose ineptness in business and gambling vices (he's spend close to a quarter million galleons in his lifetime betting on the flying ponies) has kept the family in the lower middle-class of society. His wife, a defeated woman, hid her Muggle ancestry from her husband. But by the time she was (unknowingly) expecting the twins, she spilled the beans about the secret. Now, whenever Amycus' father feels like taking out his frustrations on the world and his place in it, he takes it out verbally on Muggleborns and Muggles, and verbally and and at times physically on his wife.
In an environment like this, it's a bit easier to see where Amycus picked up his various attitude. Amycus was always a big boy and he always used his size to his advantage when he could. This sense of entitlement got him in trouble with the law on occasion, and his father would have to pull strings and ask favors of mates he had in the Ministry to get his son out of it. This started to make Amycus believe that he was a bit untouchable, but he was smart enough to realise that he had to pick his spots if he wanted to avoid getting in trouble. But as a shrewd but simultaneously passionate lad, he couldn't help getting in trouble at times.
There was no doubt that he'd get his Hogwarts letter and be sent to learn magic, and as his father was Slytherin he wasn't surprised when he ended up there as well. He was a bit surprised when his sister was also Sorted into Salazar's House, but more on that later. At school he quickly gained a reputation of being a bully to smaller students, and standing up to older students who he could still out-muscle, but he also gained the reputation of a go-to guy: someone that other students could go to if they needed help with something. For a price, of course. It turned out Amycus wasn't quite as thick as he was made out to be, which reflected well enough in his grades and his ability to pick his spots. Yeah, he was a bully, but did he bully for show, or bully when there was a chance that he could get popped for it by Prefects and Professors? Not if he could help it.
His sister going to Hogwarts added a bit of complication to things. They were so close and very different in personality, and what's worse, she was made a Slytherin as well. There were and are many times when Alecto is a source of embarrassment for Amycus rather than pride, and he's never afraid to let her know it. In public, if need be. In many ways its your typical sibling relationship with an older brother and younger sister. They tend to annoy the heck out of each other.

Other
Not one to stick her nose into people's business and definately not a person that tries to go around messing with people. Jaselynna was just the kind of girl that would sit back and watch everything take place, instead of getting herself involved. If it wasn't her fight, she wasn't going to fight it.
Heads tucked into the front pockets of ripped up blue jeans, Jase didn't have her usual smile upon her face. She had only been at the school nearly a week and only made a handful of friends, okay not really maybe just two. It wasn't the same as when she was back home, where she was friends with everyone. It had been almost two years since they left England, and almost 3 months since she last gone back. And now, her and her brothers choose to come to a stupid american public school? Wow, could Jase become any stupider.
Why did she come to a school where she knew no one? Oh yeah, thats right... To get away from home. Jase just wished life was simpler, that everything would go the way she wanted or had planned. But no, it went completely the wrong way. 'Why does everything bad always happen to me?' she thought to herself. Jase understood the whole thing about not getting boyfriends easily, that was just the problems she had even back in England. They found her out to be more of the friend that will go four wheeling and biking, then a love sick puppy who likes romantic movies and moonlight walks.
Truth be told, Jase has never had a real boyfriend. Truth be told, Jase was still a virgin. Even the deeper truth would be, that Jase has never been kissed. Yes, sixteen years old and never been kissed. That was the excitement when you only had male friends, that thought you where part of the 'boys'.
Letting a sigh slip from her lips, Jase walked towards a window, opening it up, she looked down from the second floor. It wasn't that high so jumping wouldn't have to much of a point. Pushing those thoughts out of her head, far into the back of her mind. She jumped up onto the window sill and sat. One leg hanging and the other bend under her. Looking down at her appearance, Jase smiled a little bit. It was all coming clear. No wonder boys didn't like her, she was just like them.
Dressing in baggy, full of hole jeans and long shirts that you would think belonged to her brothers. And as for her hair, yeah it was usually pulled up into a tight bun or tucked up under a hat. Wow, did Jase every need to make herself over. She had the whole style of a tom-boy going on and drive a Titan to back it up.
